Melanie Hickerson, the book, is an eight-page, fifteen-image presentation of a number of significant works by Ms. Hickerson. The reproductions are of the highest quality and are printed on 8.5 x 11 glossy paper. Small images of each page appear at left.

Besides reproductions of paintings, the book contains a number of statements by Ms. Hickerson about her work, and a critical essay by Michael Fressola.
